quilting Quilted iPad Bag with Flap Top

If you have a brand new iPad, or know someone who does, you'll want to protect it! Keep it safe when you carry it around or set it down, by storing it in a bag made just for an iPad. After I got my iPad I wanted a good case for it and didn't like anything that was available, so decided to make my own. I enjoy quilting, and liked the idea of the soft padded protection it would offer, so made myself a quilted iPad bag. (This was the first tote of any kind I ever made!) Before it was even finished, my sister saw it and wanted one, so I made one for her too. After I made a few, I decided to create the pattern so anyone can make their own bag in their favorite colors.

Pattern has complete easy to follow, step-by-step illustrated instructions, so even if you're a beginning quilter you'll be able to make this bag. You'll need cotton fabric, batting, and thread, plus heavy duty webbing if you don't want fabric straps. Bag has a flap top that tucks nicely under the straps. Overall size is 8-1/2 x 11-1/2 when closed. If you don't have an iPad, it also makes a pretty cute little handbag! Pattern will be sent as a PDF so you can get started on your case right away. As with all of my patterns, it is copyrighted, and for the buyer's use only, so please don't share. However, I don't mind if you make and sell finished items using my patterns.
